We are currently looking to replace our old beds with new, comforable beds.
We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. If you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.
Who We Are
Southbury Animal Control is a municipal facility located on Peter Road in Southbury - Our facility has a no kill policy and we believe that it is essential that all impounded dogs get lots of attention, love, and care along with a clean, safe place to stay until a forever home can be found!
Adopting a friend
All animals adopted must be considered a family member, treated with love, dignity and respect - All pets adopted need to have medical care, a comfortable place to sleep, good food, fresh water, exercise, love, and most of all the understanding that it is a commitment the entire family as a whole must share. The adoption fee for an unaltered animal is $50.00, which is part of the State of CT Animal Population control program that provides spay/neuter, rabies and distemper shots - this program is only valid for Connecticut residents - Out-of-state and altered pet adoptions are $5.00
